The primary service area is a 120 nautical mile radius around each base. The helicopters are staffed by a flight nurse and flight paramedic team who are trained and educated in managing critical patients. The aircrafts are operated and navigated by the most experienced pilots in the aviation industry. The entire team is prepared to respond to any patient situation that may arise including medical and traumatic scene responses, critical care inter-facility transports and high risk obstetrical transports. The aircraft are single pilot VFR BK-117 B2 capable of speeds up to 120 mph and equipped with the latest in life saving and advanced aviation technology.
